A History of Dog Training & Care

I am Mari Magursky, the owner of Gold Dust Animal Care, a full service dog training and pet sitting service. I have been professionally training and showing dogs in obedience, agility and conformation as well as pet sitting since 1996.

Born in 1960 in South Milwaukee, I received my first dog, a German Shorthaired Pointer, at age 11 . After moving to NYC in 1978, apartment life and working as a dancer involved a great deal of traveling, so a cat was a better choice- -and it took care of the rat problems.

Moving to the Florida Keys in 1989, where I still reside, I met John and his Golden Retrievers. Love at first site – with the Goldens. ( I eventually married John). I discovered how much fun showing in obedience and agility was, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Gold Dust Animal Care offers in-home pet sitting for every kind of animal

Pet sitting is baby sitting for animals . Prior to the sitting, we visit the home, meet the animals and humans. We see how many visits are required per day and any special needs or quirks.

We offer professional Dog Obedience and Agility Classes
